Track: Good Weather: Fine

Feature race for the stayers that sees an open market. London Banker hit form again last start and may well go on with things. Le Don De Vie has been tough to catch but has a strong third up record. Alakahan comes out of some strong form races while Sweet Thomas has been knocking on the door and Arapaho must be respected with the strong Sydney form. Seat Of Power maps to have an easy lead while Bartholomeu Dias can bounce back. The tempo should be moderate.

Can’t have.

2. Le Don De Vie (13)

Going along well but has to be a little query over this distance with 8 tries for just the 1 placing. That being said, the stable are the best in the land at producing and training stayers so I have it on top. Back into an easier race and off the first up win, demands respect and a potential bounce back is on the cards.

3. Ballistic Boy (4)

2/2 at the Sunshine Coast is the massive tick for an out of form Ballistic Boy. Has been poor of recent however getting back to the track it loves may spark a form reversal. Very weary.

4. London Banker (17)

I was against London Baker last start but it certainly cooked up some humble pie for me. Strong win and has found form again. Off that, it can go on with things here however barrier 17 will be no walk in the park for it.

5. Bartholomeu Dias (7)

A bit flat footed last run however certainly can bounce back her. Was sent on a wild drift late so keep an eye on the market again here but wasn’t beaten far last run and has the class to take this out.

6. Swords Drawn (2)

Yet to show much and would prefer to see, however it would be worth keeping an eye on the market.

7. Seat Of Power (8)

Maps to find the front quite easily here which could be a good advantage. Suitable field and can run these ragged if left alone up front.

8. Sweet Thomas (6)

Hard to catch and tends to run placings a lot more than it wins however certainly has the right form. Hard to trust but can certainly be in the mix and is a top 4 contender.

9. Alakahan (5)

Unlucky last run. Maps for the right run in transit and has a strong percentage of finding the podium off career efforts. This is a suitable race and the price is solid.

10. Arapaho (3)

Sent across from NSW which is more often than not a winning move. Maps perfectly from barrier 3 and strikes a suitable race however I would prefer Arapho on top of the ground.

11. Pappalino (11)

Prefer others.

12. Street Dancer (12)

Good upside about Street Dancer who should see out the trip and is on an upward spiral. Overall this is a winnable race and its over the odds.

13. Spencer (16)

Can’t have.

14. Ostermeier (15)

Needs to lift on current form.

15. Dunhill (14)

Can’t have.

16. I Ponder (10)

Prefer others.

17. Winston Blue (9)

Prefer in easier.
