Track: Good Weather: Fine

A lot of these will be suited getting back on top of the ground after having raced on wet tracks for quite a while. Kementari leads the market and has been able to put away some good races of late. Nash Rawiller steers and he has been in top form. Wandabaa has been a model of consistency and is in the mix while Shooting For Gold should be improving back onto dry ground. Doesn’t look to be much tempo in this race, Prime Candidate should be finding the front quite easily.

1. Kementari (9)

Known to be an enigma but has certainly been winning some races lately that are of better quality than this. Nash steers and if any luck is found from barrier 9 Special K can run over this lot.

2. Baller (3)

Won this race last year. Should be suited back onto good footing and has plenty of class. Some query racing at Eagle Farm with just the one win but goes in the mix for top 4 contention.

3. Niccanova (11)

Brings the right form but the winning strike rate is of concern. Has plenty of talent but extremely hard to catch from a punting perspective. Can win but risky to back.

4. Prime Candidate (10)

Looks to get the front very easily and Tim Clark does the riding. If he can pinch some cheap sectionals mid race Prime Candidate can certainly take this out.

5. Shooting For Gold (8)

Loves this track and trip and has been looking for a dry track. 1/1 over  the track and distance and 3/5 on the track. Shooting For Gold ticks plenty of boxes and strikes a winnable race.

6. Tumbler Ridge (12)

A bit hit and miss but when on song is a very classy operator. Has to be kept safe in a race like this and if Prime Candidate overdoes it early Tumbler Ridge can hit the line hard off a strong tempo. Keep an eye on the market for it and how the track is playing.

7. Hilo (2)

Outstanding last run. Has always had plenty of ability but tends to mix form, not hopeless at odds.

8. Sir Warwick (7)

Going along okay but this is a decent rise in grade. Prefer others.

9. Babylon Berlin (5)

Should be suited back onto a dry deck and with a better draw. Just got too far back last run but did start $3.60 and was a head away from Sword Of State the run prior and that is the right form for this.

10. Wandabaa (6)

Racing well and has got rid of the mudlark tag. Hard to knock and can give a sight in this.

11. Letzbeglam (4)

Suited by the draw and covered plenty of ground last run. In the mix and brings the right form.

12. Centrefire (1)

Can run an improved race with minimal tempo in this field expected. Keep safe.
