Race 4 at Eagle Farm Racecourse on Saturday 4th June 2022.
The 2022 Bill Carter Stakes is being held at Eagle Farm Racecourse and is run over 1200 metres. It is a listed race for the two-year-old fillies and is run under set weight conditions. The total prize money is $150,000.

Bill Carter Stakes 2022 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Plenty of hopes in a race where a lot is to be learnt. Zougotcha has to jump from the wide draw but has been ultra impressive to date and should take some holding out yet again. Madame Pommery returned from a break in excellent fashion while Midnight In Tokyo has formlines around the highly promising Nettuno. Good race with plenty of hopes and solid tempo engaged.

1. Exo Lady (8)
Seems to enjoy wet tracks a little more but back in trip should suit in this and finds an in form Jim Byrne.
2. Plymstock (9)
Sneaking under the radar at big odds. Racing well and only needs luck from the draw to be hitting the line hard and giving this a shake.
3. Madame Pommery (2)
Returned in excellent fashion. Always respecting the NSW form and comes up with an ideal draw and map. Looks the one to beat in this.
4. Minks Star (5)
Can’t have.
5. Zougotcha (14)
Racing well but barrier 14 makes things very difficult. This race is within reach but looks short enough given the barrier and the luck in running that is required.
6. Rose Of Shiraz (4)
Can’t have.
7. Midnight In Tokyo (10)
Strong form for this race giving Nettuno a big scare as odds on. Barrier 10 isn’t ideal but Nash Rawiller is in exceptional form and he can give this race a red hot shake.
8. Tequila Dancer (1)
This is a massive step up in grade, can’t have.
9. Penthouse (7)
Has the right running pattern. Should land on the speed and give a sight. Top 4 chance.
10. Saweetie (6)
Massive step up in grade but always respecting the stable and its placement. Not hopeless at odds.
11. Stroll (3)
Needs to improve to feature. Keep an eye on the market.
12. Bezique (13)
Has good upside. Huge rise in grade but has the right potential to take this out.
13. Honey Pot (12)
Keep an eye on the market. Has to improve its barrier manners but has plenty of potential.
14. Maid To Fit (11)
Can’t have.
