Five of the runners had their last start in the Listed Without Fear Stakes over 1050m at Morphettville on 6 May, and two in a 2YO Maiden plate over 1200m at Balaklava on 10 May, while the rest came via different races and one is having her first start. The early favourite is Iphimedia who won on debut at Terang then ran 2nd in the Without Fear Stakes. Second favourite is Chilled who was given a beautiful ride to win the Without Fear. Third favourite is Heuristic who finished runner-up in the Group 3 Breeders’ Stakes over 1200m last start. Stupendous is unraced but won a recent trial at Murray Bridge by 6 lengths, while Down Low worked home late to grab 3rd in the Without Fear. The rest of the runners are currently over $12.

Won a 2YO race over 1100m at Morphettville on 15 April, before he finished runner-up in the Group 3 Breeders’ Stakes over 1200m last start. Has only missed the trifecta once in 6 starts, handles soft tracks and should run well.

2. Bolted In (10)

Has one start for one win. Showed a good turn of foot to win a 2YO Maiden Plate over 1200m at Balaklava by 0.3 length on 10 May. Jessica Eaton retains the ride and he is in the mix.

3. Even Sharper (1)

One of 2 runners for Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas (the other is Te Pani). He has been runner-up in 2 of his 3 starts with the latest being 0.3 length behind Bolted In at Balaklava. Stepping up to metropolitan racing for the first time.

4. Putanothercoinin (7)

Debuted for 6th on the Without Fear Stakes and should take improvement from that run.

5. Chilled (9)

She was given a beautiful ride to win the Without Fear and now has 2 wins and 3 places from 5 starts. Hasn’t run a bad race and should be in the trifecta again.

6. Iphimedia (3)

Won on debut at Terang then ran 2nd in the Without Fear Stakes. Leading hope.

7. Harleen (8)

One of 2 runners trained by Chris Bieg (the other is Stupendous). Winded to the line when 8th in the Without Fear. Gets winkers on for the first time but appears tested.

8. Down Low (5)

Worked home late to grab 3rd in the Without Fear at her 2nd race start. Trained by Mick Price & Michael Kent (Jnr) who won this race with Maximillius last year. Caught the eye last start and is one of the key chances.

9. Te Pani (4)

Still a maiden. Prefer others.

10. Stupendous (6)

Unraced but won a recent trial at Murray Bridge by 6 lengths. Keep a watch on the betting.
