BRC Sprint 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Just about the most wide open race I have ever come across. Cardinal Gem is flying but will need a miracle from the barrier. Scallopini rarely misses and should run well in this field. Coal Crusher was a tough winner last time out and can go on with things while Bacchanalia has good claims from the kind draw. Many chances in this.

As consistent as they come and well placed in this despite the tricky draw.
2. Dark Destroyer (13)
Has been lightly raced and going well enough to give this race a shake. Keep very safe despite the draw.
3. Cardinal Gem (21)
Excellent win last start but the hug query is the map from barrier 21. Risky at the odds but certainly capable of winning.
4. Gem Song (5)
Prefer others.
5. Holyfield (12)
Lands on the speed and gives a kick. Best roughie of the race and nicely placed against these.
6. Sinawann (16)
Need to see more than what it showed last prep.
7. Surf Dancer (8)
Can’t have.
8. Kiku (18)
Capable of bobbing up at odds but has a very tricky draw to overcome.
9. Cool Crusher (3)
Good win last start and can go on with it here.
10. Dragon Leap (20)
Mixing form but wouldn’t entirely shock despite the draw.
11. Hilal (14)
Costly for punters and hard to catch.
12. Bacchanalia (1)
Having a very honest prep and gets all the favours from the draw. Hard to beat.
13. Vinco (2)
Prefer others.
14. Excelida (15)
Capable of running well if it handles the track. Goes in the mix.
15. Ucalledit (9)
Hoped for more fresh. Needs to lift.
16. Charmmebaby (17)
Prefer others.
17. Lady Of Honour (10)
Good enough to take out a race like this but does need to find its best.
18. Far Too Easy (19)
Will need luck from the draw but can win.
19. Brookspire (4)
Keep an eye on the market.
20. Munhamek (7)
Disappointing last run but good enough to bounce back in this.
21. Clemenceau (6)
Gun jockey and good draw. Can figure.
