Dalrello Stakes – 2022

Track: Good  Weather: Fine

A race over 1000 metres that revolves around the very talented Steady Ready who put 6 lengths on its rivals on debut and looks well placed to win again. This won’t be a walk in the park with Victorian raider Brereton coming across from the Peter Moody stable. Palazzo Spirit remains a big danger to the favourite, while Jemeldi returns from a break and is hovering around some big each-way odds.

1. Mishani Warfare (4)

Does handle the track but this is quite a task. Not hopeless but I would like to see a market push.

2. Brereton (3)

On ratings looks to have an edge on the field. Does no work from the draw and brings in the Victorian formlines. Very hard to beat and well placed, just has to handle the track.

3. Palazzo Spirit (6)

One of the better chances launching from a good draw. Consistent and can win this at solid odds. Likeable.

4. Heroic Son (10)

Not hopeless at massive odds. Need to find its best but does have class when right.

5. Jemeldi (16)

Massive upside and just had the one poor run last prep. Tricky draw but giving it really big respect in this field.

6. Ready Steady (2)

Massive on debut however does need to convert it to good footing and leaps up a few grades. No knock, it was an enormous debut and does look the one to beat however it does look slightly short in current betting.

7. Exo Lady (5)

Unbeaten over the track and trip and drawn very well. Excellent chance in this line up and can bounce back on good footing.

8. Soaring Ambition (14)

Won’t be easy from barrier 14 but a strong tempo ensures it will be running on. Solid each-way chance.

9. Plymstock (7)

A hot speed set this up for Plymstock and it looks an excellent chance at odds. Will be rattling home late and has the right ratings to give this race a shake.

10. Minks Star (13)

Does like this trip and doesn’t look hopeless at odds.

11. Menari Magic (17)

Can’t have.

12. Al Pal’s Gal (1)

Not sure it is the right form for this but has been about the mark. Some hope given it does no work from the draw.

13e. Glamborgini (11)

Been slightly disappointing its past few runs but can certainly bounce back here. Needs luck from the draw but can win.

14e. Chinny Boom (9)

Knows where the line is and has done everything right to date. Deserves respect and is a good chance.

15e. Midnight In Tokyo (8)

Long odds and deserves to be.

16e. Under The Covers (12)

Can’t have.

17e.  Honey Pot (15)

No jockey engaged as of yet. Has good ability however will need some luck from the draw. Always respecting the stable and some hope in this field.
