Quality contest with plenty of hopes. Zougotcha leads the market after a commendable return behind the talented Sunshine In Paris. That form looks solid for this. Annavisto is a quality mare with 7 wins from the 17 starts and will be hard to hold out in this. Ruthless Dame was very unlucky last start and should give this race a red hot shake. Dylan Gibbons is a quality booking. Hope In Your Heart returned a winner and commands respect. The best version of Yearning would take this out while Hinged is also a chance and gets James Mcdonald hopping aboard.

1. Hinged (12)

Went okay last run without threatening. J-Mac hops aboard which is a very interesting shift of change. Keep a close watch on the market. Ran 3rd in this race last year. Has the talent to win this.

2. Annavisto (16)

Kept up her outstanding 1st up record with a brilliant fresh win. The query here is she is usually more dynamic fresh and has to deal with a very wide draw but this race is still within reach.

3. Hope In Your Heart (9)

A line finder and a winner. Gets the right race to notch up another win, just needs some luck from the draw.

4. Mustang Valley (11)

No luck behind Hope In Your Heart and gets a nice weight swing. The run in transit will be vital to its chances but has to be in the mix here.

5. Zougotcha (14)

Excellent return and should be strips fitter for this. Winnable race but the wide draw and K-Mac on are both queries. Happy to avoid despite being the current favourite.

6. Mirra Vision (3)

Runner-up in this race last year. By no means hopeless in this. Solid effort fresh and weighted well against this lot. Sherry will be able to sit off the speed and pounce late. The $31.00 is hovering around large odds.

7. Purplepay (5)

Big market watch. Has the right credentials for this.

8. Expat (1)

Excellent fresh and she looked back to her best running a super race in what has turned out to be some handy form. The query is the 2nd up record and a dry track, as well as the amount of pressure that will be copped from barrier 1. In the mix but needs a bit to go right.

9. Ruthless Dame (10)

Luckless last start running some very good splits behind Sunshine In Paris. Dylan Gibbons takes the steer and that looks an excellent move. With a pinch of luck from the draw it looks well placed to take this race out and goes on top.

10. Sheeza Belter (7)

Solid to the line last start ands suited by the dry ground. Pike will get a nice tow into the race from barrier 7. This is within reach.

11. Excelida (18)

Prefer others. Barrier 18 looks a bridge too far.

12. Larkspur Run (17)

Going well but needs to find a few lengths to threaten these.

13. Yearning (8)

My patience is running thin with Yearning but it was awfully unlucky last start absolutely bolting with nowhere to go. The in form Zac Lloyd does the steering and the key with Yearning is clean air. If she gets it she is right up to these.

14. Espiona (6)

Back in form last start. 0/3 on this track and has been hit and miss. Prefer others in this.

15. Times Square (13)

Can’t have.

16. More Prophets (15)

Prefer in something easier.

17. Torgene (4)

A shade over the odds given it was an excellent return running 2nd to Espiona and nicely weighted in this. Whether that is the right form in this remains a query.

18. Pride Of Jenni (2)

This looks too tough. Prefer others.
