Our Randwick Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
There are seven Group races and two Listed races. The Group 1 races are the Randwick Guineas (race 7) and the Canterbury Stakes (race 8).
Sacramento (Randwick Race 4 No. 2)
This four-year-old Pierro gelding is one of two Waterhouse & Bott runners in the Randwick City Stakes and has won three of his four starts this campaign. He led most of the way for a 2.3 length win over 200om at Randwick on 23 January, then used similar tactics to win by 1.3 lengths in the Listed Parramatta Cup over 1900m at Rosehill on 20 February. He already has two wins at Listed level and should be winning here.

She’s Ideel (Randwick Race 9 No. 5):
This five-year-old Dundeel mare trained by Bjorn Baker has five wins and seven places from 16 starts. At the end of last campaign she kept working to the line for 2.05 length 5th in the Group 2 Matriarch Stakes over 2000m at Flemington, then resumed from a 15 week spell for 0.8, a length 3rd in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill. She has outstanding form at this track with three wins and a place from four starts, and looks a great a great each-way chance.

Swift Witness (Randwick Race 3 No. 1):
This two-year-old Star Witness filly has had three starts for a win and a place and is the early favourite in the Group 2 Reisling Stakes over 1200m. At her 2nd race start she won by 3 lengths in a 2YO fillies race over 1100m at the Gold Coast on 9 January, then was checked at the start and was found to be heat-stressed when she finished 7.3 lengths 10th in the Gold Coast $2m Magic Millions 2YO Classic over 1200m on 16 January. There are some very good fillies in this race and I am prepared to risk her.
