With the early scratchings of Riverina Cyclone and Delicious Tycoon, 7 runners remain for the 2023 Tesio Stakes. There are tw0 4YO, four 5YOs and one 6YO. Three runners had their last start in the Group 3 Angst Stakes over 1600m at Randwick on 14th October and two in the Group 3 Ladies Day Vase over 1600m at Caulfield on 14th October while the others came via different races.
The early favourite is Wishlor Lass who was the winner of the Ladies Day Vase. Second favourite is Osmore who finished 5.8 lengths 12th in the Angst Stakes when resuming but will be fitter now. Third favourite is Thalassophile who finished 3rd in the Angst. All other runners are currently $7 or longer.
