Race 9 at Caulfield Racecourse on Saturday the 2nd of December 2023.
The Summoned Stakes is a Group 3 race held at Caulfield Racecourse and is run over 1600 metres. It is for mares aged four-years-old and older and is run under set weights and penalties conditions . The total prize money is $200,000 this year.

Summoned Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Revolutionary Miss won with something in hand in the mid weeks last start and can go on with things here but is a shade under the odds. Thalassophile has built up a consistent record and will be hitting the line hard. Wollombi should have every hope from the kind draw while Picaroon and Kind Gesture are both expected to be around the mark in this competitive race.
Summoned Stakes 2023 Runner by Runner
1. Revolutionary Miss (10)
Lead and proved too good in the mid weeks. Decent leap in depth here but off the back of the last start win has to be respected.
2. Zenzella (4)
Haven’t seen its old form for a while.
3. Thalassophile (5)
Has been around the mark all prep and will be the one hitting the line hard. Proven at this level and above and can give this race a shake.
4. Frumos (3)
Jury is out on Frumos but he is still good enough to take out a race of this depth and gets a kind draw. Not hopeless.
5. Wollombi (2)
Maps to get a nice run and brings in some strong form. Having a good prep so far and while it has been up a while it does get the services of the very in form Jamie Kah.
6. Picaroon (9)
Has been a winning machine of late that loves this trip and looks for 3 in a row. More than capable despite the wide draw.
7. Lady Jones (1)
Going along well and has options from barrier 1. Goes in the mix in this race with Coffey doing the steering.
8. Forbidden City (8)
Sound claism in this off the back of 2 decent runs.
9. The Maggstar (7)
This looks too tough.
10. Longtimedreaming (6)
Has come back in superb fashion and looks for three wins in a row. Can do it in this suitable affair.
11. Kind Gesture (11)
Sound return and can give this race a shake but will need a great ride from out there from Williams.
