Summoned Stakes Race Information
The Summoned Stakes is a 1600 metre set weights and penalties race for mares four-years-old and up run by the Melbourne Racing Club in November. It is held at Sandown Hillside at the end of the Spring Racing Carnival.

Summoned Stakes Race History
The race was first held as a Listed race over 1500m in 1995 and was won by a horse called Tolanda. In 2013 it was upgraded to a Group 3 race and was held over 1600m that year before returning back to 1500m from 2014 onwards.
Normally run over 1500m at Sandown it is transferred to Caulfield for 2021 and the new distance is 1600m.
