Vilana will be hard to beat in this with the services of the in-form Jamie Kah and finds an easier race than last start. Unusual Culture ran well fresh and can build off that effort. The Inferno is absolutely impossible to catch but does drop in grade while the same can be said about Crosshaven who may just be in the right race here.

You’re braver than Buzz Aldrin if you want $6.50 about The Inferno who hasn’t won for its past 16 starts but does naturally look well placed in a field of this depth.

2. Vilana (6)

Looks the winner on race set up in this. Has been around the mark this prep and did a stack of work last run. Drops back a few grades and gets the very in form Kah to steer.

3. King Magnus (5)

Loves this track and trip and sets up to have last crack at them from the draw. This race is ideal.

4. Crosshaven (7)

Too hard to catch from a punting perspective and while it was luckless fresh it is a horse that mixes its form. Hard to have.

5. Love Tap (2)

Prefer others.

6. Not An Option (3)

Not hopeless but looks a bit out of depth here. Prefer others.

7. Don’t Doubt Dory (1)

Can’t have.

8. Pascero (9)

Big odds winning last start and on paper this race isn’t much harder. Warrants respect.

9. Glint Of Silver (4)

Has been around the mark this prep and due for a win. Can plonk on speed and give a sight.

10. Unusual Culture (10)

Good return run and should pose the danger to Vilana. Tricky draw to overcome but has the runs on the board and can prove hard to beat.
