Track: Soft Weather: Overcast

Red hot on the chances of Honeycreeper who looks primed to win and 2 starts back was only nudged out by Hope In Your Heart which is outstanding form for this race. Foxy Frida is 3/5 on this track and loves racing here while Polly Grey will enjoy any rain that arrives. Atishu has been costly to punters recently but gets the services of J-Mac and should be hard to stave off. There is just a moderate amount of speed expected in this race.

1. Elusive Express (8)

Yet to strike winning form this prep but hasn’t been racing poorly and hasn’t had much luck. Zahra in the saddle, it can be a huge improver here at odds.

2. Polly Grey (11)

The recipe is simple with Polly Grey, it wants the rain. 5 wins from 12 starts on the heavy, no wins from 13 goes on the good. Its a matter of what the track conditions are like towards its winning chances. Can take this out if the rain arrives.

3. Sirileo Miss (4)

Racing very well this prep and should get every chance from barrier 4. Melham will take Sirileo Miss to the front and if it can dictate terms it will be hard to hold out.

4. Atishu (5)

Atishu has been racing well this prep in harder company than this and gets J-Mac aboard which is a huge push to its chances. Will appreciate any rain and enjoys cut in the ground. Hard to beat and deserves to be favourite.

5. Honeycreeper (3)

Love the form around Honeycreeper. 2 starts back it was just edged out by the very handy Hope In Your Heart. Nash will get every chance from barrier 3 and the Godolphin camp are in outstanding form this season. Hard to beat and enormous odds at the $10.00 mark.

6. Steinem (6)

Steinem has been going well and building nicely this prep. A big yes to stepping out to the 2000 here and Allen will be able to sit it midfield from the good draw. With the good tempo expected Steinem should get its chance at rounding these up and will be hard to hold out late.

7. Foxy Frida (13)

Foxy Frida loves the track with 3 career wins from 5 goes. The knock is Damien Oliver is yet to find the placings aboard Foxy Frida and it will also need some luck from the draw. Some hope but can’t have it off those 2 factors and the form Oliver is in.

8. Dynasties (2)

On the quick back up here, should run well with Kah hoping aboard for the first time and the nice draw. Solid last start into 4th, this race is no harder and Dynasties will be suited by stepping up in trip.

9. Douceur (12)

Douceur is far from hopeless here at odds. Dee will need some luck aboard from the draw and he is yet to taste victory from 10 rides however he is in very good form and Douceur is capable of producing a massive turn of foot when right. This race is suitable.

10. Tokorangi (10)

Racing well enough to give this a shake. Looked home last start but couldn’t cling on. Harder now but respecting the placement.

11. Thought Provoking (9)

Can’t have.

12. The Map (1)

Prefer others.

13. Glory Bound (7)

Nolen and Moody combine again with the lightly raced Glory B0und. It hit the line well behind Sirileo Miss and should be suited by stepping up to the 2000. This race is within reach. Keep safe.
