Track: Good Weather: Fine
A tricky race to sort for the stayers. Verona was a big winner 2 starts back and just battled last run. Gets its chance to return to the winners stall in this. Athabascan is racing well and there was plenty to like about the last start win. Desert Icon is due for another win but gets the ideal race here while Al Aabir has the magic man in the saddle and can show up in a race like this. Sir Lucan needs to lift this prep but goes in the mix if finding its best form.

Needs to lift this prep but if it finds its best form it can threaten this lot and Nash is an ideal booking. Tough draw but gets the right race.
2. Desert Icon (10)
Proving tough to catch for punters but also has been around the mark and this race is lacking depth. Major player.
3. Sir Lucan (3)
Hasn’t done much this prep. Has the right running pattern and can get a soft lead in this but needs to find its best form.
4. Fancy Man (9)
Racing okay and strikes a winnable opportunity. Hyeronimus is in very good form and Fancy Man has the right credentials to be winning this.
5. True Marvel (2)
Likely to want further. Looking at others.
6. Athabascan (6)
Strong last start win. This race is no harder and Sherry sticks which is ideal. Suited by the trip and a repeat of last start sees it go close.
7. Al Aabir (5)
Solid stayer for Waller that is consistent, maps well and gets the right race here. Major player against this lot.
8. Southern France (11)
Can’t have.
9. Verona (8)
Not much luck last start but was unsuited by the run in transit. Great chance to bounce back in this and attractively weighted agaisnt these.
10. Fay’s Angels (1)
Can’t have.
11. Outlandos (7)
Mixes form and this does look slightly out of reach. Respect any large market pushes for it.
12. Little Mix (4)
Harder race here but suited bu the map, the light weight and the rise in trip. Top 3 chance.
