Track: Good-Soft Weather: Fine

Fourteen are set to go around in the $175,000 Listed All Victorian Sprint Final Race.  Peter Moody has a strong hand with three runners while Gavin Bedggood saddles up two runners.  Sigh has shown a liking to the famous Flemington straight and has been well backed in early betting.  It’sourtime and Pizarro are on the next line of betting – both are consistent but neither win out of turn.  The remaining runners are longer than $10-1.

1. Tycoonist

Intriguing runner.  His one straight run in last years Group 2 Gilgai was quite good and he was given a glorified barrier trial first up in the June Stakes at Randwick.  Gets J Allen.  Would not be surprised to see him run well here at odds.

2. Zethus

Has trialed up well since rattling home for fourth at Doomben on May 20.  Ready to peak third up.

3. It’sourtime

Won the Straight Six this track and distance two back.  Never runs a bad race.

4. Nicolini Vito

Resumes.  Always races well fresh and I thought the recent Flemington jump out was very good.

5. Regardsmaree

First up.  Prefer him with a run under the belt and over further.

6. Mnementh

Won the Wagga Town Plate two starts ago, then was safely held in the Goodwood last start.  Don’t discount with Shinn in the saddle.

7. Sigh

Lightly raced mare with a good record.  Has won her last two here and there is no reason why she can’t win again.

8. Pal D’oro

Resumes.  Was very good last prep but I just wonder whether he might find these a touch sharp.

9. Pizarro

Has been good to the line at both runs since resuming from a short break.  Due another win.

10. Dance To Dubai

Was a big drifter at Sandown first up and was never a factor.  Has raced well here in the past and I would not be surprised to see her improve sharply.

11. Yulong Storm

Won the Golden Topaz at Swan Hill last start.  Doubt that form holds up here.

12. Invincible Caviar

Daughter of Black Caviar.  Is better suited getting to 1200m second up and is one from one at the track and distance.

13. Nasraawy

Ran well at Sandown last start but this is harder.  Prefer others.

14. Exeter

Is always running on but never wins.  Rough first four chance stepping up in grade.
