Track: Good Weather: Fine

Open field takes battle. Munhamek has sturdy claims and comes into this with some nice form. Aureus Angel maps well from the good draw and has claims in this field. Cepheus will take beating with a tow into the race at the right time while Blaze A Trail will need some luck from the draw but finds the right race.

Well tried in early markets. Has been around the mark this prep and finds the right race to threaten in with the in form KWT doing the steering.

2. Sinawann (4)

Its best efforts are good enough for this and maps for a gun run with Clark doing the steering. Hope.

3. Munhamek (11)

Sticky draw but finds the right race and just needs a tow into it to prove hard to hold out. Deserves to be favourite and will take beating.

4. Gravina (10)

Has been around the mark all prep and finds the right race. Will need some luck from the barrier but should have its chance in this field and the odds look right.

5. Vinco (7)

Going along okay and has good enough claims to win this. Keep safe.

6. Namazu (16)

Prefer others.

7. Irish Songs (5)

Going along okay and gets the right jockey and map. Hard to beat at a likeable price.

8. Brookspire (17)

Past its best these days. Keep an eye on the market for any moves.

9. Vespertine (2)

Capable of growing wings, just needs the gaps to appear at the right time. Hard to hold out in this.

10. Fashion Legend (13)  – SCRATCHED

11. Chassis (18)

Tough draw but very hard to knock the way it is going. Finds a suitable race and will take holding out against these.

12. Profit (20)  – SCRATCHED

13. Puntura (8)

Can’t have.

14. Aureus Angel (1)

Maps well and has been racing in very good fashion. This race is within reach with even luck.

15. Blaze A Trail (15)

Brings in plenty of class and racing in very good fashion but barrier 15 will not make things easy.

16. Legal Esprit (12)

Could be tough from out there but capable of taking this out.

17. Indispensable (14)

Can’t have from out there.

18. Fleetwood Maca (6)

Good run last start and can handle the rise in grade. Looks a solid chance with the lovely map.

19. Mississippi Prince (19)  – SCRATCHED

20. Shaquero (3)

Leaning to others.
