The All Aged Stakes is a Group 1 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 1400 metres. It is run under weight-for-age conditions for all horses. The total prize money is $1,500,000 this year.

All Aged Stakes 2024 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Espiona has loads of ability and was super unlucky in the TJ Smith Stakes. That form sticks out here. Sunshine In Paris was solid in the same race and should give this a shake. Southport Tycoon is stacked with upside and brings in a different form line around the likes of Veight. Magic Time has plenty of class and looks suited from the draw. Private Eye has to lift off the past few runs but does find a winnable race. Plenty of other hopes in what is the most wide open race of the day.

Tough draw and has been a bit off the mark this prep. Finds the right race to bounce back to form. Take on trust.

This looks too tricky.

Leaning to others.

Prefer others.

8. Chain Of Lightning (4)
In great form and can notch up another win here from the good draw. This race suits.
9. Espiona (8)
Classy runner that was super unlucky in the TJ Smith Stakes and could have gone very close to winning. Nicely placed here and while she can be hard to catch, she has to be the runner to beat.
10. Sunshine In Paris (2)
Classy runner that was solid in the T.J Smith Stakes. Maps well here and gets the usual jockey aboard of Ryan Maloney. Was punter hard fresh and can notch up its first win this prep.
11. Magic Time (6)
Brings in the class factor and put in a solid effort in the Newmarket recently. Maps well from barrier 6 and shouldn’t be far off them.
12. Southport Tycoon (5)
Has stacks of upside and looks suited to this field. Plenty to like about the last start win of Southport Tycoon and this race looks well within reach. Kah steers and the stable have had a brilliant year.
13. Encap (7)
Can hit the line with a strong turn of foot. Gets the right map and the recent group 1 winner Schiller to do the steering.
