PLEASE NOTE: Rosehill racing has been abandoned/postponed on 20 March due to the dangerous wet track conditions.

Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

There are five Group 1 races – the Ranvet Stakes (race 4), the Rosehill Guineas (race 5), the George Ryder (race 6), the Golden Slipper (race 7) and The Galaxy (race 8).

She’s Ideel (Rosehill Race 9 No. 7)
This five-year-old Dundeel mare trained by Bjorn Baker has five wins and eight places from 13 starts. After a 15 week spell she resumed for 0.8, 1 length 3rd in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill where she had the best last 200m race sectional, then she chased strongly and just missed for 0.1 length 2nd in the Group 3 Aspiration Quality over 1600m at Randwick on 6 March. The extra distance suits and she is proven on soft tracks. Should win.

Four Moves Ahead (Rosehill Race 7 No. 13):
This two-year-old Snitzel filly trained by John Sargent is the only runner in this years Golden Slipper that is unbeaten. She has only raced twice for a 2.8 length win over 1150m at Kensington on a heavy track on 2 January, then a 0.3 length win in the Group 2 Sweet Embrace Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on a slow track on 27 February. Both her wins have been on rain-affected going and as it looks as if there is a lot of rain to fall before the race – if so then we want a runner that looks to have webbed feet and she looks a great each-way bet.

Collide (Rosehill Race 2 No. 5):
This six-year-old Frankel horse trained by Kris Lees is the early favourite in the Group 3 N E Manion Cup over 2400m. At the end of last campaign in Europe he finished 5.96 lengths 6th in the Group 2 Prix Kergolay over 3000m on 23 August. He kept grinding away for 0.8, 2.8 lengths 3rd in the Listed Randwick City Stakes over 2000m at Randwick on 6 March at his first Australian start. He offers little value in a race where it is hard to line up his form.
