The feature races are the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (race 7), the Group 2 Phar Lap Stakes for 3YOs (race 6) and the Group 2 Ajax Stakes (race 8).
Criaderas (Rosehill Race 8 No. 11)
This four-year-old Lonhro gelding trained by James Cummings has four wins and four places from nine starts. At the end of last campaign he ran on strongly from well back for 0.4, 0.1 lengths 3rd in the Group 2 Villiers Stakes over 1600m at Randwick on 12 December where he had the best overall race sectionals. First-up after an 11 week spell he was heavily backed and ran on from well back for 0.2 length 2nd in the Group 3 Liverpool City Cup over 1300m at Randwick on 27 February. Drawn in barrier 1 and carrying minimum weight he should be winning.

Spirit Ridge (Rosehill Race 4 No. 6):
This six-year-old gelding trained by Mark Newnham at Warwick Farm has five wins and four places from 13 starts and has won twice at this distance. He chased hard to get ahead late and win by 0.2 lengths in the Group 3 Summer Cup over 2000m at Randwick on 26 December, then he chased hard to find the front at the 200m and came away to win by 0.8 lengths in the Listed January Cup over 2000m at Randwick on 9 January. He hasn’t raced at Rosehill before but looks a great each-way chance.

Hungry Heart (Rosehill Race 6 No. 6):
This three-year-old Frankel filly trained by Chris Waller is the early favourite in the Group 2 Phar Lap Stakes for 3YOs over 1500m. She resumed after 18 weeks for 2 lengths 7th in the Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on 13 February, then kept chasing between runners for 5.6 lengths 8th in the Group 1 Surround Stakes over 1400m at Randwick on 27 February. Other runners have better recent form and I don’t think she can win.
