Fangirl will be winning provided the rain stays away. Meets most of these again and simply looks unbeatable on a dry track. Just Fine can run well fresh. Think It Over had class but needs to find 3 lengths on an eased down Fangirl from last run. Gap to the rest.

Class runner who did find a strong win last prep and does team up with Nash who rides very well. Suited over further but wouldn’t shock.

2. Cascadian (9)

Can be hard to catch but has a lethal turn of foot and is off a long break. Capable of running over the top of these if the tempo is on.

3. Arapaho (8)

Can’t have.

4. Buckaroo (1)

Sound run last start and gets the favours from barrier 1. Should give this race a shake and the odds suit.

5. Just Fine (2)

Capable of winning this fresh. Put together a few wins in a row last prep and looks nicely poised in this company. Bayliss steers and this race is well within reach.

6. Navajo Peak (4)

Can’t have.

7. Lindermann (5)

Sound when resuming and can go better here. Barrier 5 is ideal but hasn’t won for a while.

8. Athabascan (6)

Can’t have.

9. Fangirl (10)

Outstanding win last run and simply looks unbeatable if the track stays dry. Any rain and her chances are hindered a lot. Would love to see Waller get the win in honour of the great mare and the race she is named after.

Can’t have.
