Reisling Stakes 2024 Race Details
Race 2 at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 9th of March 2024.
The Reisling Stakes is a Group 2 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 1200 metres. It is for two-year-old fillies and is run under set weight conditions. The total prize money is $300,000 this year.

Reisling Stakes 2024 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Erno’s Cube comes up a big price. She has been up for a while but form has been good and looks well placed against these despite the draw. Castanya maps well from barrier 4 and should give this a shake. Too Darn Lizzie showed plenty on debut and looks well suited to this field with Tim Clark doing the riding.
Reisling Stakes 2024 Runner by Runner
1. Too Darn Lizzie (3)
Too short for my liking. Good debut win, maps well and Clark aboard but just looks more open than the market reflects.
2. Erno’s Cube (9)
Goes on top. He has the best form for this including a very strong third last start behind a smart quinella. Whether there is more gas in the tank is the query.
3. Castanya (4) – scratched
4. Nymphadora (5)
Solid roughie who had no luck last start. Does need to find quite a few lengths on Erno’s Cube when they met but is not out of this.
5. Miss Busslinger (8)
Can’t have.
6. Extreme Diva (1)
Maps well and on the quick back up off a solid effort last week. Can win this and draw to do no work.
7. Reasonable Point (6)
Good run last start and good enough to get away with this. Can camp off the speed and pounce on them late.
8. Silmarillion (2)
Prefer others.
9. Mic Drop (7)
Can’t have.
