Track: Good Weather: Fine

Private Eye is coming off a 2nd to Imperatriz which is excellent form for this. Should be steaming at them late. Aft Cabin mixes its form but does have the ability when right. Remarque has trialled very well and was a winner fresh last prep. Passive Aggressive won this last year and strikes an easier field. Mazu has the ability and has been well tried.

1. Private Eye (7)

Class of the field coming out of the right form race. Slightly awkward draw but hard to see him losing with the right run in transit.

2. Mazu (3)

Good trial but a long time between drinks for Mazu. Can win but hard to trust.

3. Remarque (1)

Maps well and looks suited to this field. Should get a gun run from barrier 1 and this race is a suitable target. The booking of Berry is ideal.

4. Aft Cabin (2)

Looks short enough. Has the talent but hit and miss. Take on trust but the odds are skinny.

5. Zapateo (4)

Can’t have.

6. Passive Aggressive (5)

Won this race last year and looks suited to this field. Maps well from barrier 5 and should give this race a shake.

7. How’s The Serenity (6)

Can’t have.
