The Premier’s Cup is a Group 3 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 2000 metres. It is run under quality handicap conditions and is for horses aged three-years-old and older. The total prize money is $250,000 this year.

Track: Heavy Weather: Fine
Fawkner Park leads the betting and has plenty of ability. Unlucky last start and should be able to overcome the wide draw. Mach Schnell has an ideal running pattern and should be in this for a long way while Hosier bounced back to form last start and has undeniable claims in a field of this depth.

Likely to be around the mark and it was a solid effort last start. Will need early luck finding a spot but comes into this as a good chance.

Good run last start and kindly weighted in this field. Maps a treat and is a top 2 chance in a winnable race with race fitness on its side.
8. Point Nepean (4)
Market watch.
9. Military Mission (7)
Has a strong second up record and the speed to offset the wide draw. Any scratchings will help its chances in this big field.
10. Raging Bull (1)
Prefer others.
11. Athabascan (10)
Can’t have.

Looking for this trip and gets the services of Jamie Kah. Should get a nice run in transit and has good claims in this.

Unlucky last star and had built up a large picket fence prior. This race is suitable and the booking of Gibbons is ideal. Very hard to beat.
