A wide open affair. Brookspire comes up favourite and can return a winner in what is a suitable race. Extremist will need luck from the wide barrier but looks well placed to give this race a shake. Roots will also need luck from its draw but can figure in this field while Sneaky Five is capable of pulling out a large run and can beat these.

Good galloper that needs pace on. Needs another win but good enough to get one here.

Going along well and gets the right race. Hard to beat in this field.

3. Juan Diva (2)

D-DAY was 6 months ago. Can’t have.

4. Sneaky Five (6)

Brilliant return run and should get its chance from barrier 6. Quality field here but looks one of the major players.

5. Hellfest (5)

Looming around large odds. Had no air last run and looks a big improver.

6. Salateen (19)

Was runner-up in this race last year. Tough draw but has plenty of class. Major player.

7. Stroll (18)  – SCRATCHED

8. Brookspire (4)

Finds a winnable race fresh with a good draw and gun jockey. Keep an eye on the market for an idea of its chances.

Leaning to others.

10. Extremist (9)

Racing very well but leaning to others in   tricky race.

11. Comrade Rosa (14)

Having a great prep. Looks a solid place chance in this.

12. Enterprise Pomme (13)

Solid prep but leaning to others.

13. Self Indulgent (1)

Enormous last run when caught wide. Does no work from barrier 1 and can take this out. Goes on top.

Can’t have.
