2021 Dulcify Stakes Race Details
Race 5 at Rosehill At Kembla Grange on Saturday 11 September 2021.
The Dulcify Stakes is a 1500 metre set weights plus penalties race for three-year-olds run by the Australian Turf Club normally at Rosehill. It is held during September and there are also three Group 2 races on the programme. In 2021 the meeting has been transferred to Kembla Grange due to the ongoing Covid crisis as the local government area where Rosehill is located has had the strict stay-at-home orders extended.

Dulcify Stakes 2021 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
There are 13 runners for the $150,000 Dulcify Stakes and four of them had their last start in the Group 3 Ming Dynasty Quality Handicap on 28 August. There are eight colts, three fillies and two geldings, and sires Astern and Maurice have two runners each. There are two runners each for Chris Waller and for Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott.
The early favourite is Tiger Of Malay who won the Group 3 Up And Coming Stakes here at his last start on 14 August. Second favourite is Silent Impact who has only raced twice but won both races by solid margins. Third favourite is Giannis who finished 2nd in the Group 1 JJ Atkins Plate last start and has won three lead-up trials.
Royalzel has won four from six starts and has won his last three races in a row. Alegron won a Newcastle maiden by 3.7 lengths last start. Hinged has five wins and two places from seven starts and has won her last three starts. Military Expert finished 2nd in the Ming Dynasty, while Aeecee Express has won his last two starts. All other runners are currently 20 to 1 or longer.
