Solid race for the stayers with the Maher Eustace stable holding favouritism represented by Through Irish Eyes. Irish Sequel was strong winning last start and has been well backed in early markets. Splendiferous just keeps finding ways to win and is suited by the booking of Tim Clark. Sweet Thomas & The Fearless One are on the next line of betting in what is an extremely open affair. Splendiferous should be setting a good clip.

1. King Of Leogrance (9)

King Of Leogrance is well and truly due for a win but have to keep him safe off the fact that he’s 1/1 over this trip. Can certainly run this out and is a player at odds despite the poor strike rate of late.

2. Splendiferous (7)

Has to be a query running out the trip but Tim Clark has been booked and if he can assume control of the race Splendiferous can win again. Looks fractionally short given the risk at the trip however the stable are superior at making them tough. Top 4 chance.

3. Irish Sequel (4)

On the quick back up after a strong win last start and Irish Sequel maps for a dream run and should be hard to beat if it can run out the trip. J-Mac sticks which is a positive sign.

4. Sweet Thomas (3)

Unlucky last start and should have won. The winning strike rate of Sweet Thomas is a concern but that is the case for a lot of these. If it can build off last run it can take this out but that would have to be taken on trust. Can win.

5. Pappalino (11)

Needs to lift, prefer others.

6. Through Irish Eyes (6)

The stable are the best in the business at producing stayers so Through Irish Eyes demands serious respect. knows how to run out a trip and there is a sense of timing about it.

7. The Fearless One (11)

Continues to race well and is well placed in this company. Barrier 11 does make things slightly tricky but should be hard to hold out and brings the right form into the race.

8. Traduce (5)

Prefer others & had every chance in an easier race last weekend.

9. Lunasnit (8)

This looks too tough.

10. Marakopa (2)

Going along okay and maps nicely. Has to step up again to take this out. Keep an eye on the market.

11. Balmaurice (10)

Not hopeless at odds and the last start run was very good. Excellent chance for the top 4.
