Track: Good Weather: Fine

Good race with plenty of hopes. Political Debate hung on last start and has the right amount of upside and scope to take this out. Sharp ‘n’ Smart was right behind it in the finish & has a massive case to be turning the tables while Ringmaster continues to race well and Tyresa is a sneaky hope at odds with the nice draw. A few should be going forward and the tempo will be just fair.

1. Brereton (15)

Ran well last time out and should be suited by this trip. No favours from the draw but warrants respect against this bunch.

2. Twin Stars (6)

Massive fan of Twin Stars. Knows where the line is, brings in the right form and maps perfectly from the draw. One of the better chances in this race.

3. Cocobrew Express (14)

Needs to lift on form.

4. Political Debate (9)

Got there on the line as best bet last weekend. Harder here so that is some concern but does have the right amount of upside. Can win, just looks short enough.

5. Mishani Spartan (12)

Prefer others.

6. Brosnan (7)

Has likeable form for this race and suited by the trip. Slightly awkward map but going well enough to give this a shake and looks a good price.

7. Green Shadows (19)

Map looks tough for Green Shadows from 19. Going along well enough but will need luck in running from there.

8. Heroic Son (13)

Form has tapered off, prefer others.

9. Owen County (17)

Barrier 17 won’t be easy for Owen County but at the same time he’s going too well too ignore. Convincing win recently and off that, has the upside and progression to take this race out.

10. Sharp ‘N’ Smart (5)

Excellent last weekend savaging the line and this race is well within reach. Barrier 5 sets up fr the dream run in transit and looks hard to beat in this field. Top pick.

11. Robusto (16)

Won’t get it easy from barrier 16 and has to be some query over the trip off last run. That being said, respecting the formlines and good enough to take this out.

12. Basquiat (1)

Comes from the right camp and does no work in the run. Keep safe and watch the market.

13. Ringmaster (11)

Always been a fan of Ringmaster. Massive run last start and is a major player in this field. Great chance with even luck from the draw.

14. Fearless Knight (2)

Prefer others.

15. Lethal Thoughts (18)

Comes from the right camp but barrier 18 is very tricky. Can win, keep an eye on the market.

16. Sheeza Belter (10)

Super win last start and can build off that. Slightly awkward map but one of the better chances.

17. Tyresa (4)

Thought Tyresa was excellent last run and I was keen on its chances then as well. Barrier 4 ensures a nice run, well over the ods.

18. Amati (8)

Must be respected and comes out of the same race as Owen County. In the mix here.

19e. West Of Africa (3)

Prefer others.
