All Aged Stakes 2023 Race Details
Race 8 at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday the 15th of April 2023.
The All Aged Stakes is a Group 1 race held at Randwick Racecourse and is run over 1400 metres. It is run under weight for age conditions and is for all horses. The total prize money is $600,000 this year.

All Aged Stakes 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Giga Kick comes up favourite. The Everest winner should be hard to hold out. Zaaki is a star and has a sensational record with J-Mac aboard. Mazu has plenty of class and will be storming at them late. Jacquinot will also be hard to hold out and is having a strong prep.
They are all Group 1 level horses and four of them had their last start in the Group 1 T J Smith Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on 1 April.
All Aged Stakes 2023 Runner by Runner
1. Zaaki (6)
Hard to beat and has an outstanding record with J-Mac aboard. Expect a positive ride and Zaaki is all class. Should take beating in this.
2. Lost And Running (12)
No luck fresh but again drawn wide and will need some things to go right. Should be hitting the line hard and only needs even luck to figure.
3. Private Eye (3)
Classy galloper that hasn’t fired a shot yet this prep but is capable of taking this out at his best. Suited by a good tempo, he will be hard to hold out in the business end.
4. Cascadian (10)
Won this last year and is having a brilliant prep. Strong win last start and is right in the mix against this lot. Hard to beat.
5. Mazu (9)
Having a great prep and Mazu looks suited by this field. Can show up and any rain enhances his chances.
6. Bandersnatch (8)
Prefer others.
7. Ho O Amazon (7)
Import that is a market watch.
8. Kolding (5)
Won this race in 2021. Can’t have.
9. Roch’N’Horse (1)
Good run last start in a quality field. Where Roch’N’Horse gets too from the draw remains a query but this race is within reach.
10. Electric Girl (2)
Poor record at the track. Prefer in something easier.
11. Jacquinot (4)
Goes in the mix. Unbeaten over this track and trip and very hard to beat when on song. Maps Kindly and just needs clean air at the right time to go close.
12. Giga Kick (11)
Has enormous claims. Last years Everest winner who has been very good at both runs back. Needs luck from the draw but can take this out and is a deserving favourite.
