Kilmore Cup 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Sliding with some value in the form of Lord Vladivostock. Was heavily tried last start and raced a bit flat. It looms as large odds in this and is a solid chance against a field of this depth. Dashing is a quality galloper that has put in multiple very good runs this prep. Goes in the mix. King Magnus has a touch of class and will be hard to beat in this field while Acenscion hails from a leading stable and has a strong record over this trip.

Class runner who maps well and brings some credible form into this race. Will take beating from the good draw and is likeable odds.
2. Acsension (9)
Dual nommed. Looks hard to hold out in this race. Flies over this distance and the stable place them to perfection. Has been very well backed in early markets.
3. Junipal (2)
Good win last start and can make it back to back. Has the ability but has proven hard to catch over time.
4. Swords Drawn (6)
Average run fresh but could be an improver in this field.
5. Midnight Blue (8)
Can’t have.
6. Kaptain Kaos (12) – SCRATCHED
7. Keats (1)
Can lead them up and prove hard to catch but under the odds and well and truly due for another win. Hard to beat but very short.
8. Lord Vladivostok (3)
Looming around a nice price from the good draw. Backed off the map last start and produced just a fair run. Can give this a shake with a good run from the draw.
9. Dashing (10)
Good claims in this field. Hasn’t put a poor run in this prep and this looks slightly easier than last start. Hard to beat.
10. Golden Crusader (11)
Maps for a tricky run but has sound claims fresh with a winnable weight.
11. Typhoon Harmony (7)
Prefer others.

Can’t have.
