Open field engaged. Brudenell maps well in this and should get a lovely run in transit carrying a light weight. Dragonstone was a model of consistency last prep and looks hard to beat with Clark in the saddle. Insurrection has solid form lines and can give this race a shake while Hard To Say is putting together a very strong record and goes in the mix.

Maps for a tidy run and does look nicely placed in this field. Keep an eye on the market moves.

3. Malkovich (13)

Nice trial and should land on the speed and give this race a shake. In well at the weights and will prove hard to catch.

4. Cannonball (6)

Average fresh and would have to lift off that effort.

5. Bacchanalia (8)

Average run fresh but can do better and is well placed in this if finding its best form.

6. Dragonstone (4)

Consistent runner that has a kind map and weighted nicely. Has been well tried in early markets and should give this race a shake.

7. Recommendation (11)

Around the mark this prep and the form looks right. Tough draw but not hopeless in this.

8. Insurrection (2)

Consistent runner that will be strips fitter for its return and is well placed in this field.

9. Hard To Say (12)

Has gone to a new level this prep and looking for 5 wins straight. Harder here but also hard to knock winning form.

10. Quick Tempo (9)

Appreciated sitting closer to the speed last start and got a much deserved victory. May attempt to do the same in this.

11. On The Lead (1)

Can’t have.

12. Brudenell (3)

In well at the weights and has the gun jockey aboard. Go well in this from the kind draw and winnable affair.

13. Maotai (10)

Flopped the start last run and then over did it. Not hopeless in this if it jumps clean.

14. Dehorned Unicorn (7)

Solid run fresh and should be strips fitter for it. Big field but with luck in running can win.

15. Shelby Sixtysix (15)  – SCRATCHED
