Track: Good Weather: Good

Quality race with a mix of form lines. King Of Sparta goes on top. It brings in the superior form lines and will relish racing on the good ground. Shooting For Gold loves this track and can never be ruled out here while Garbaldi is having a very fruitful prep and is primed to strike gain here from the nice draw. Zethus creates intrigue hailing from the Godolphin camp and if it finds luck from the draw it should give a bold sight.

Prefer to see with a run under the belt.

2. King Of Sparta (7)

Have King Of Sparta on top against these. No problems with the fresh record and better on dry going. Chad Schofield steers for the first time and the Snowden yard in exceptional form. Love the form around some handy NSW and VIC gallopers. Hard to beat in this.

3. Garibaldi (4)

Garibaldi is having an excellent prep and can run well again in this. Maloney sticks, the map is ideal and he races well on this track. Massive chance and deserves to be in the market.

4. Shooting For Gold (9)

Shooting For Gold flies on this track, 3 wins from 4 career starts. Loy will need to produce a good ride from the barrier but this race is within reach and good footing is very ideal for it.

5. Simply Fly (14)  – SCRATCHED

6. Zethus (12)

Zethus put the writing on the wall last start with a good win. James Orman is an eye caching booking, it sees the track fo the first time and will need to have a bit go right from the draw but this race is within reach.

7. Blondeau (6)

Struggling to find Blondeau in this. It needs to lift this prep and tends to race better on tracks with give in it. Looks a little short in the market at the moment.

8. Tokoriki Lad (5)

Can run a bold race fresh and Thornton knows the horse well. The map looks kind from the draw and it is a solid place chance.

9. Redouble (19)

Can’t have.

10. Ef Troop (2)

Ef Troop flies over this track and trip with 2 wins form 3 goes. Craig Williams is certainly an eye catching booking and good footing suits. Excellent chance against these.

11. Doctor Zous (1)

Prefer in something easier.

12. Contemptuous (18)  – SCRATCHED

13. Animate (10)

Can’t have.

14. Goldsborough (3)

Expect Goldsborough to be hard to hold out in this. It flies third up, relishes this track and Taylor Marshall jumping back aboard is a huge tick, she is 1/1 on. Excellent each way hope.

15. Sir Rocket (15)

Prefer in easier.

16. Hilo (16)

Can’t have.

17. Direct (11)

Hard to knock the way Direct has been racing over in VIC. It has a great running pattern and the penny has dropped for it this prep. Where it gets to from the draw is a bit of a query but this race is within reach if it can find the front without doing too much work.

18. Lord Olympus (17)

Prefer in something easier.

19. Montenegro Man (13)

Can’t have.
