Open field to take battle. Leaning the way of Encap who scored for us last prep and maps for a nice run from the barrier. Moravia has good upside and gets the in form Tommy Berry steering. Griff is a winner and should prove hard to beat fresh while Caballus is on the up and will prove hard to hold out in this.

4 from 8 career wins including three on the trot at the end of last prep. A recent trial was a good piece of work and can win in this wide open race.

2. Tom Kitten (2)

Resuming off a break and went very well last prep. Suited over further but can go close in this.

3. Encap (4)

Scored for us at healthy odds at the end of last prep off the back of some consistent form. Maps well and likely suited to further but can take this out. Level of improvement for this runner and many others in this is the key,

4. Caballus (7)

Has the race fitness on most of these and scored a very slick win when resuming. Awkward map but good enough to take this out.

5. Moravia (6)

Capable of taking this out fresh. The in form Berry steers and is a market watch here.

6. Celestial Legend (1)

Has some good form from last prep. Maps well from barrier 1 and is well placed in what is a very even race.

7. Flying Trapeze (5)  – scratched

8. Scully (8)  – scratched

9. Makarena (9)

Put together two nice wins at the end of last prep. Tricky draw and likely wants further but well placed here.
