Open field engaged. Southport Tycoon brings in the right form and looks hard to hold out from the good draw and with the very in form Lane steering. Carbonados had excuses last run but deserves another chance. Zipaway should get a good run in transit and knows where the line is. Hey Fat Cat is on the up and on the quick back up while Snow Patrol has a bit to find on the favourite when they last met but does have ability.

1. Zipaway (7)

Going along well this prep and maps for an okay run. Brings in a different form line to this lot but still looks well placed in this company and will take some holding out. Parnham does the steering and this race is suitable.

2. Carbonados (1)

Pulled up with issues last start and is worth another chance. Barrier 1 should afford every hope and this race is within reach. Expect Currie to take it to the front and play catch me if you can.

3. Flying Trapeze (8)

Going along well and brings in different form lines to a lot of these. Well placed here with Williams steering and should prove tough to hold out.

4. Southport Tycoon (5)

Has the right form for this race. Maps for a good run from barrier 5 and has the very in form Lane doing the steering. This race is a suitable target and this field is ideal.

5. Hey Fat Cat (4)

Is on the up and has put together a few good wins in a row. Barrier 4 should afford every chance and has been well tried in early markets.

6. Shiny New Deel (2)

Can’t have.

7. Snow Patrol (6)

Huge market move for it. Has been off the boil but showed plenty when winning on debut. Can win if it finds its best.

8. Sacramental (3)

Can’t have.
