Our Randwick Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

The Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes is race 8 and The Silver Eagle is race 7.

On The Lead (Randwick Race 10 No. 3):
This four-year-old I Am Invincible gelding trained by Richard & Michael Freedman resumed after 22 weeks for 2.8 lengths 5th over 1000m at the Rosehill at Kembla Grange meeting on 28 August, then found the front at the 150m but couldn’t hold on and finished 0.4 length 2nd over 1100m at Gosford on 22 September with the best last 800-200m race sectional of the day at the distance. Suited by the drop in weight and distance and fitter now he should be hard to beat.

Yiyi (Randwick Race 3 No. 3):
This four-year-old No Nay Never mare trained by Chris Waller has three wins and three places from six starts this campaign. She over-raced in the middle stages before finishing 1.2 lengths 3rd over 2000m at the Rosehill at Kembla Grange meeting on 11 September. Last start she took over at the 280m and kept going for a 0.6 length win over 1900m at Rosehill on 25 September. In great form and is a solid each-way bet.

Great News (Randwick Race 9 No. 10):
This five-year-old Uncle Mo mare trained by Kim Waugh is the early favourite in The Nivison Group 3 set weights race for mares over 1200m. She has placed at all three starts this campaign. She started favourite and finished 0.8 length 3rd in the Listed Mona Lisa Stakes over 1350m at Wyong on 3 September, then started favourite and finished 1.1 lengths 3rd in the Group 3 Tibbie Stakes over 1400m at Newcastle on 17 September. She has been expensive lately and I’m willing to risk her in this field of good mares.

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments There are 9 races including the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 (race 8). The track is soft and the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Angel Capital (Doomben Race 6 No. 5) Debuted for a 2.3 length win at Cranbourne where he came from last and wound up from the top of the straight to flash home down the outside. Jamie Kah sticks and he looks a lovely colt. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson

Horse Racing Tips: WA Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments The main feature is the Group 3 $200,000 Belmont Sprint (race 8). The track is Good and the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Generosity (Belmont Race 5 No. 2) She has had 2 placings this campaign where she’s made a big run from well back in the field. The extra distance will suit and she has won at Belmont before . Top pick. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way

Horse Racing Tips: SA Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments There are 9 races on the Parks circuit. The track is rated good and the rail is +3 metres from the 1000m -to the winning post and true for the remainder. Best Bet Easy Campese (Morphettville Race 3 No. 4) Easy Campese has been runner-up at his last 3 races and is ready to win. With the 2kg claim for Alana Livesay he will only carry 52.5 kg down from 59kg last start and hopefully that will make all the difference.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 4 metres. The feature races include the Straight Six (race 7) and the Andrew Ramsden (race 8). The best bet looks well placed to bounce back and very hard to beat if finding its old form. Best Bet Niance (Flemington Race 3 No. 7) Had excuses last start when bungling the jump. Looks really hard to beat if finding its old form and there was so much to like about the wins prior. Looks way over the
