Laure Me In (Randwick Race 3 No. 5)
This six-year-old gelding trained by David Pfieffer at Warwick Farm has three wins and three places from 10 starts at this distance. He resumed after 18 weeks for 2.8 lengths 6th over 1500m at Rosehill on 12 September, then improved second-up for a narrow win over 1600m at Randwick on 3 October. He drops in weight and should be fitter so he looks the likely winner.

Special Reward (Randwick Race 6 No. 2):
This five-year-old gelding has eight wins and three places from 17 starts. He finished 1.6 lengths 4th after being held up from the 400m-250m in the Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill on 12 September, then only battled when 5 lengths 5th in the G3 Cameron Handicap over 1500m at Newcastle on 18 September. The blinkers go back on and he goes well at Randwick. He is worth an each-way bet.

Forbidden Love (Randwick Race 4 No. 1):
This All Too Hard filly is the early favourite in the Listed Reginald Allen Quality over 1400m. She finished 0.5, 1.3 lengths 3rd in the Group 2 Furious Stakes behind Dame Giselle and Hungry Heart on 5 September then was 0.3, 1.5 lengths 3rd in the Listed Heritage Stakes. I suspect the 1400m might be a bit too far for her and don’t expect her to win.

Key Comments The track is rated soft and the rail is +10 metres the entire circuit. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight.
