This seven-year-old gelding has placed in both starts this preparation. He resumed for 0.37 lengths 2nd over 1400m at Ascot on 31 October, then ran on late for 4.2, 0.89 lengths 3rd i the Listed Ascot Gold Cup over 1800m at Ascot on 14 November. He can handle the extra distance and is getting close to a win.

This six-year-old Oratorio gelding has won eight of his 32 starts. At the end of last campaign he finished 3.59 lengths 4th over 1600m at Albany on 15 May, then resumed for a 0.13 length win over 1400m at Ascot on 14 November.This is a similar race and he looks worth an each-way bet here.

True Attraction (Ascot Race 2 No. 2):
This five-year-old More Than Ready gelding is the early favourite in this Rating 72+ handicap over 1400m. He ran 1.89 lengths 6th over 1400m at Ascot on 31 October, then finished 4.86 lengths 6th in the Group 3 RJ Peters Stakes over 1500m at Ascot on 14 November. He was nearly 5 lengths back last start and doesn’t look like value.

Best Bet Arthur The Great (Canberra Race 6 No. 3) He is as honest as they come and is having a great prep. Best Bet Glamour Ana (Horsham Race 2 No. 10) Good run last time out placing in a handy field where the horse who came second has won again since.
