Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Son Son (Ascot Race 3 No. 1)
This three-year-old Rogano gelding trained by Adam Durrant has three wins and three places from six starts. When resuming from a 19 week spell he controlled the race in front and won by two lengths over 1200m at Ascot on 21 April, then was leading but was overhauled late for 1.29 lengths 2nd over 1100m at Ascot on a heavy track on 5 May. Should win here provided the track is not too heavy.

Each Way

Rock Magic (Ascot Race 8 No. 1):
This 11 year old gelding has raced at Group level at his last eight races and has placed in four of them. At the end of last campaign he finished 0.31, 1.1 lengths 3rd in the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes over 1200m at Ascot on 28 November, then resumed for 1.05 length 2nd in the Group 3 Northam Stakes over 1100m at Northam on 2 May. He goes well at this track and has won the Roma Cup twice before when he was younger – in 2017 and 2018. He looks a good each way bet in the race again.

Best Lay

That’s Funny Az (Ascot Race 4 No. 1):
This four-year-old Snippetson gelding is the early favourite in this RTG 74+ Handicap over 1600m. He has won four of his six starts this campaign, winning by a narrow margin over 1600m at Ascot on 10 April, then running 1.86 lengths 4th over 1800m at Ascot on 24 April. He is getting up in the weights, even with a 2kg claim and does not offer value in this race.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Thursday 20th June 2024

Key Comments The rail is true and the conditions are in the soft range. A 9 race card takes place and the jockeys challenge looks an even spread of chances. The best bet looks well placed to notch up another win. Best Bet She's Pretty Rich (Wangaratta Race 4 No. 3) Doesn't win out of turn but did 2 starts back and again put in a solid effort last run in Morphetville. Looks well placed here on the weights scale and should give

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Thursday 20th June 2024

Key Comments The track is rated good and the rail is out 0.5 metre from the 900m to 600m, and +1.5 metres from the 600m to 250m. Best Bet Levar (Gatton Race 1 No. 4) Levar was a close 3rd at Ipswich at his only start. From the inside barrier he should go straight to the front and should be able to stay there. Top rated. Horse Racing Tips: NSW Thursday 20th June 2024

Key Comments Suitable track for those who can sustain a long finale. The rail is in 3 metres from the 1100m mark to the winning post and true for the remainder. The track is in the soft range. The best bet brings in some very strong form lines. Best Bet Recruiter (Kembla Grange Race 5 No. 4) Tough draw to overcome but love the form lines around this runner with 3 horses to have subsequently run and won including Art Volant and Waterski

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Wednesday 19th June 2024

Key Comments The track is in the soft range and the rail is out 8 metres. The best bet is one of the hardest horses to catch but looks juicy odds. Best Bet William Thomas (Sandown Race 8 No. 3) He has been enormous in his past few runs without much luck and does go well on this track. Very hard horse to catch but boasts a good place rate and hasn't seen a grade this low since 2018. Can win but he
