Think ‘N’ Fly (Bendigo 8 No. 3)
This So You Think gelding has had nine starts for three wins and a place, and all three wins have been at this distance. He settled 6th and was too keen mid race then battled on steadily for 4 lengths 8th over 1400m at Sandown Hillside on 9 September. After a 4 week break he chased hard the entiore straight for 0.5 length, 0.1 length 3rd over 1600m at Bendigo on 7 October. That was his first look at the track and he can handle wet conditions. He should be ready to win third-up.

Each Way
Zebrowski (Bendigo Race 7 No. 6):
This Savabeel gelding trained by team Hawkes has been racing in Group races this campaign and has been going well without winning. He is currently 25th in the Melbourne Cup order of entry and needs to do something here to secure one of the 24 spots. He finished 4.1 lengths 6th in the Group 1 Metropolitan over 2400m at Randwick on 3 October, then was outkicked but chased hard the entire straight for 1.25 lengths 2nd in the Group 2 Herbert Power Stakes over 2400m at Caulfield on 10 October. He looks a solid each-way bet.

Rock Prophet (Bendigo Race 4 No. 12):
This four-year-old gelding trained by Ray Besanko at Cranbourne is the early favourite in this BM 78 handicap over 1100m. He battled on out wide for 4.35 lengths 12th in the Group 3 The Heath over 1100 at Caulfield on 29 August, then chased steadily for 2.5 lengths 7th in the Group 2 Bobbie Lewis Quality over 1200m at Flemington on 12 September. This is a big drop in class but he is drawn wide and rises in weight.
