The WA Oaks is a 2400 metre set weights race for three-year-old fillies run by the West Australian Turf Club in late March or early April. It is held at Ascot as part of the Perth Autumn Racing Carnival.

WA Oaks Race History
The race was first held in 1953 over 2200 metres and was won by a filly called Copper Beech. It was held as a Group 1 race from 1979 to 1991, a Group 2 race from 1992 to 2005 and has been run at its current Group 3 status from 2006. The distance was 2200m from 1953 to 1962 except for 1957 when it was held over 2000m. It was reduced to 2100m in 1963 and 1964 and has been held at the current 2400m distance since 1965.
