Track: Good Weather: Overcast

Open edition this year and some handy runners engaged. Alpha One has speed to burn and was mighty impressive winning last start. It will take a power of beating if able to assume control here. Semillion brings the right form and should be pouncing on the leaders late while Spacewalk must be respected fresh and Thron Bone just keeps winning. Tempo should be solid.

1. Semillion (3)

Brings in some handy form lines around Lofty Strike and Voldermort. Should be getting a nice run in transit just behind the speed and this race is more than within reach.

2. Cannonball (4)

Put it together last prep with some excellent wins and Zahra continues to stick. Probably improves with a run or two under its belt but keep an eye on the market and respect any late moves. Cannonball is more than capable of winning this race.

3. Milane (8)

Put away by Moody and now presented in a suitable race. The query is the map and raceday fitness but certainly demands respect. Keep an eye on the market.

4. Thron Bone (1)

Continues to win and can boot up from the draw. The form out of its last race wasn’t exactly franked the other day through River Ribble but all you can do is win and Thron Bone is doing just that. Keep safe.

5. Alpha One (6)

The clear one to beat for mine. Has a superb running pattern and plenty of early gate speed. Should be able to lead these up and if Alpha One can assume control of the race it will be awfully hard to get past. Pending how much pressure is put on Alpha One early it does look the winner to me.

6. Giga Kick (5)

Won well first up beating a handy one called Lascars. Giga Kick gets the extremely in form Craig Williams in the saddle and maps for a nice run just off the speed. Big threat to Alpha One pending how much tempo is on early up front.

7. Man In The Mirror (7)

Dangerous back onto a drier track. If you pen both its efforts on heavy runs last prep and just go off its dry run, it is well and truly in this race and the booking of Jamie Kah is certainly no hinderance to its chances.

8. Spacewalk (2)

Also nominate elsewhere however if they elect to run here it must be kept safe. Maps for a nice run from the draw and brings in those strong NSW form lines. Spacewalk can take a stalk on the leaders and pounce late if they over do it up front.
