Godolphin runner who is never far away in any race he runs in. He was beaten 2.6 lengths in the Kingsford-Smith last start, prior was beaten 1.4 lengths away in the All Aged Stakes. Drops back to listed level here and is well suited at weight for age.
2. Mister Sea Wolf
Rising nine year old who comes back 200m in distance for this. He has won five of his twenty starts at the mile and should be rock hard fit now. One of the leading chances.
3. Kings Will Dream
Terrific horse having his last ever start. He never got warm first up and rises sharply in distance from 1200m to 1600m here second up. This trip will be much more to his liking as will the extra fitness.
Ranier ran well first up at Randwick, then didn’t come on here in the BRC Sprint last time out. May be able to settle closer in the run but needs to improve on recent showings.
Import who is first up in Australia. He has had five starts in Ireland winning the last four of them and looks a very promising galloper. He will be better over more ground however has a 1600m win to his name and showed some speed in a recent trial.
6. So You Win
Another one of the Waller horses who comes back in distance for this. He hit the line solidly to finish second last start – his fourth placing from as many starts this prep. Should be there abouts again.
7. Military Zone
Third up here with leading hoop Tommy Berry in the saddle. He has a win and a placing from his two previous attempts at this track but I’m not sure he is going great at the moment.
This four year old gelding has an excellent record at this track. He won a class 6 by .2 of a length here first up and will only improve into this. However, losing the services of James McDonald is a negative.
