Huetor was excellent winning last start and the form around it has stood up boldly since. Major player in this. Without A Fight showed off a blistering turn of foot fresh and will take plenty of beating. Numerian maps better than its rivals and should be in the mix while Duais was sound fresh and can build off that run. Serpentine rounds out the chances.

Top 2 chance. The form around it has stood up since and it was a very impressive win last start. Should take a power of beating in this and just needs even luck from the barrier to be taking this race out.

2. Numerian (2)

Won this race last year. Maps well from the barrier and should get every chance from there. This race is well within reach and expecting nothing but a peach from the draw.

3. Without A Fight (11)

Showed off a neat turn of foot to score last start and looks set to go on with things. Strong chance in the Melbourne Cup and has to rate very highly here.

4.  No Compromise (6)

Prefer others.

5. Nonconformist (12)

Capable of bobbing up at odds and will just need some luck from the right time from the draw. This race looks well within reach and the odds are ideal.

6. Bankers Choice (9)

Prefer others.

7. Luncies (8)

Around the mark and should get a tow into this at the right time. Had its chance last start and will need to find more to be beating the favourite.

8. Serpentine (4)

Kicked but outbobbed last start. Maps for a good run but harder here. Place chance.

9. Young Werther (1)

Impossible to catch. Can’t have.

10. Lion’s Roar (7)

Going along fine but leaning to others.

11.Kolding (14)

Ran 2nd in this race last year. Can’t have.

12. Duais (3)

Looked back on track last run. Best goes close. Respect any market moves.

13. Media Award (5)

This looks too tough.

14. Fame (13)

Flying this prep and ideal jockey booking. This race is well within reach with even luck from the draw. Goes close.
