A stack of chances in this. The Big Goodbye is having a super prep. Needs luck from out there but can’t be dismissed. King Kapa will be hard to hold out with the big weight. Manhood can give a sight despite the wide draw and the same can be said for The Inferno who hasn’t won for a long time but has the class to take care of this field.

1. Alpine Edge (15)

Good enough to figure in this with some luck from the draw. Class jockey aboard and despite its mixed form this prep it is good enough to take this out.

2. Weona Smartone (9)

Hasn’t won for a while but has been in some handy races. Can land on the speed and give a bold sight. This race is within reach.

3. The Inferno (19)

Hasn’t won for a long time. Well and truly overdue but its best would give this a shake. Respect any market moves.

4. Bacchanalia (2)

Maps well and finds the right race with the right jockey aboard. Likeable.

5. Prime Candidate (8)

Classy runner that can give this a shake if it finds luck from the draw. Goes in the mix.

6. Ranges (13)

Hard to catch but more than capable and is up to these. Will just need a pinch to go right from the barrier.

7. The Big Goodbye (14)

Maps a little tricky but this race is within reach. Like the booking of Collett and ideally weighted in this field.

8. Axe (16)

Prefer others.

9. Bandipur (12)

Mixes form and will need some luck from out there. Prefer others.

10. Vespertine (3)

Capable of sprouting wings when on song. Needs a bit to go right from barrier 3 but this race is well within reach.

11. Blondeau (7)

Can bob up at odds and gets the in form jockey. Keep safe.

12. Ef Troop (18)

Map looks sticky from there but good enough to find the placings with some luck.

13. Goldsborough (5)

Should get the right run in transit from barrier 5 and is good enough to win this.

14. Greyworm (1)

Can’t have.

15. King Kapa (4)

Looked back on track last run. Maps well and goes in the mix against these.

16. Manhood (17)

Tough draw but class runner of the field and is having a super prep. Should prove hard to hold out in a winnable race. Likeable claims.

17. Pizarro (6)  – SCRATCHED

18. Two Ya Got (11)

Tough barrier but can figure with some luck in running. Flying this prep and strikes the right race. Goes in the mix.
