Queensland Oaks 2023 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
This is all about Fireburn. I have plenty of time for this runner and it put the writing on the wall with a slashing win last start. Struck again by a wide draw but only has to turn up in a similar fashion to put this lot away. Expect a bolt effort from Renaissance Woman who brings some nice form to the table. Affaire A Suivre is a winner which some of these are not, goes in the mix off that fact while the best version of So Dazzling would give this a shake.

Like it. Back to form last start with a blistering turn of foot and looks very well placed in this company. Just needs to get into the race at the right time to be winning and is very bankable odds because of the draw.
2. Affaire A Suivre (13)
Keeps winning and has the class to measure up to these. Will need to take the next step but in the right camp to do so. Keep safe.
3.Renaissance Woman (6)
Tracking nicely and having a consistent prep. Maps better than its 3 rivals in the market and has a huge advantage there. Definite winning chance.
4. So Dazzling (11)
Hard t0 beat and will get back anyways so the draw isn’t too much of a negative. Has a lethal turn of foot and is a winning chance in this.
5. Tyresa (12)
Needs to improve.
6. Noah N’ A Deel (10)
Can’t have.
7. Sakura Girl (21)
Barrier doesn’t make things easy but racing in good fashion and can give this a shake with even luck.
8. Super Chilled (18)
Mixing form but best efforts would give this a shake. Tricky draw but gun jockey booked and this race is within reach.
9. Madame Odette (3)
Mixing form and may find this a little too tough.
10. Let Me Reign (14)
Prefer others.
11. Divine Purpose (4)
Can’t have.
12. Proscenium Arch (8)
Needs another win. Brings in some solid form but D-day looming.
13. Original Glaze (2)
Can’t have.
14. Cheval D’or (20)
Nice last start win and the jockey sticking is an ideal push. Barrier 20 makes things tough but that may come in with scratchings. Top 3 hope.
