Concorde Stakes Race History
The Concorde Stakes was first run in 1989 as a Listed race over 1000m and was won by Alpine Flyer. In 1992 the distance was increased to 1100m and in 1997 it became a Group 3 race. In 2013 the distance was returned to 1000m. In 2023 the prizemoney was increased to a massive $1 million.
