Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
There are two Group 1 races – the Tancred Stakes (race 7) and the Vinery Stud Stakes (race 6).
Krone (Rosehill Race 4 No. 1)
This five-year-old Eurozone mare trained by Tony Gollan at Eagle Farm has six wins and 10 places from 26 starts. She is currently in the best form of her career having just won three races in a row. She won the $1 Million Magic Millions fillies & mares race over 1300m at the Gold Coast on 16 January, the Group 2 Guy Walter Stakes over 1400m at Randwick on 27 February and the Group 1 Coolmore Classic over 1500m at Rosehill on 13 March. She can handle any track conditions and has drawn well in barrier 2. Looks the winner.

Great News (Rosehill Race 9 No. 12):
This four-year-old mare trained by Kim Waugh at Wyong has five wins and four places from nine starts. At the end of last campaign she fought on for 0.3 length 2nd over 1500m at Rosehill on 28 November, then was spelled for 15 weeks. She resumed for a 2.14 length win in the Provincial Championship Qualifier over 1200m at Gosford on 13 March. Although she has drawn very wide here she has the speed to overcome that and looks a great each-way bet.

Rock (Rosehill Race 8 No. 4):
This five-year-old Pierro gelding trained by Team Hawkes is the early favourite in the Group 3 Doncaster Prelude over 1500m. At the end of last campaign he finished 5.9 lengths 12th in The Gong over 1600m at Kembla Grange on 21 November, then he resumed after 16 weeks for 0.8, 0.1 length 3rd in the Group 2 Ajax Stakes over 1500m at Rosehill on 13 March. He has good second-up statistics but has some strong opposition and I am prepared to risk him here.
