This four-year-old Brazen Beau gelding trained by Neville Parnham has a wins and four places from seven starts. After running three places in a row in Melbourne he settled 3rd then dropped out and was eased down to finish last over 1600m at Caulfield on 9 May. He resumed after 24 weeks with a 2.1 length win over 1200m at Ascot on 24 October to break his maiden status. Now he has won once he looks capable of going on with it.

This filly trained by Steve Wolfe at Albany hasn’t run a bad race with three wins and five places from eight starts. She resumed from an 18 week spell for 5.32 lengths, 1.13 lengths behind Clairvoyance in a 3YO Plate over 1200m at Belmont on 15 August, then led into the straight but was overhauled late for 1.33,0.01 length 3rd in the Listed Belgravia Stakes over 1200m at Ascot on 24 October. She will have benefited from that run and looks well worth an each-way bet.

This five-year-old mare is the early favourite in this Class Three Handicap over 1500m. She battled to the line for 4th in the Geraldton Cup over 2100m on 19 April before spelling. She resumed for 1.03 length 4th over 1400m at Ascot on 21 October. There are several chances in this race and she does not represent any value.
