Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Race 5 is the Group 2 Ted Van Heemst Stakes over 2100m and race 7 is the Listed Starstruck Classic over 1600m.

Midnight Blue (Ascot Race 6 No. 1)
This four-year-old So You Think gelding has three wins and five places from 12 starts. He ran on strongly for a 0.75 length win over 2200m at Ascot on 21 November, then ran on strongly to just miss and finish 0.08 length 2nd over 2200m at Ascot on 5 December. He likes this track and distance, William Pike goes back on and he should win again.

At the end of last campaign she ran on for 1.03, 0.6 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Belmont on 15 August, then resumed after 14 weeks for 0.27 lengths 2nd in the Listed Carbine Club of WA Stakes over 1400m at Ascot on 21 November. She has never been out of the trifecta and looks a good each-way bet here.
