Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

The feature races are the Natasha Stakes for 3YO fillies (race 5) and the J.C. Roberts Stakes for 3YO C&G’s (race 7).

Western Empire (Ascot Race 7 No. 1)
This three-year-old gelding trained by Grant and Alana Williams has two wins and four places from seven starts. He was outsprinted to finish 1.63, 1.95 lengths 3rd in the Listed Challenge Stakes over 1500m at Ascot on 13 February, then won by 5.5 lengths in the Listed Lex Piper Stakes over 1600m at Ascot on 27 February. That was a very impressive win and he should win again.

Each Way

Sir Mambo (Ascot Race 4 No. 1):
This five-year-old War Chant gelding has not been far from the winner in his two starts back from a 20 week spell. On resuming he fought evenly to the line for 1.34 lengths 4th over 1100m at Ascot on 23 January, then he had a tough run and finished 0.78, 0.46 length 3rd over 1200m at Ascot on 13 February. He has won three races at this track and with a 2kg claim he looks worth an each-way bet.

$7.50

Best Lay

Secret Lair (Ascot Race 1 No. 3):
This Galah colt is the early favourite in this 2YO Plate over 1200m. He has only had one start and finished 0.16, 2.77 lengths 3rd over 1100m at Ascot on 13 February. That was a nice debut effort but he offers no value at the current price.

Horse Racing Tips : VIC Saturday 30th March 2024

Our Flemington Tips for Saturday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is true. The feature races include the Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (Race 4), Bob Hoysted Handicap (race 5), Sunlight Classic (race 7), Australian Cup (race 8) and Roy Higgins (race 9). The best bet is huge odds to place. Best Bet Blue Allure (Flemington Race 4 No. 9) Got close to the favourite first up who admittedly looks very hard to beat but the place odds are huge about Blue Allure here. Strips fitter

Horse Racing Tips : ACT Friday 29th March 2024

Our ACT Tips for Friday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 9 metres from the 1000m-380m then in 7 metres for the remainder of the track. The best bet comes up in the first race and looks very hard to beat against these. Best Bet Code In Time (Canberra Race 1 No.3) Maps well from the draw and looks very hard to beat. This race looks within reach and expect it should have every chance against this moderate field. $1.90

Horse Racing Tips : SA Saturday 30th March 2024

Our Oakbank Racing Tips for Saturday's meeting. Key Comments Today's feature is the $140,000 Hills Railway Stakes over 1100m (race 8). The track is Soft and the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Shiny Rock (Oakbank Race 4 No. 1) Shiny Rock has won his last 2 at Lock and Broken Hill by big margins. He has a big weight but gets a 3 kg claim for Rochelle Milnes. Should be able to bring up the hat-trick here. $2.90

Horse Racing Tips : QLD Saturday 30th March 2024

Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the 30th of March. The track is Heavy and the rail is + 1 metre the entire circuit. There is the chance of a track upgrade. Best Bet Transatlantic (Doomben Race 5 No. 2) Transatlantic is a talented Snitzel colt but has yet to race on anything worse than a Soft 6. Last start he won by 3.3 lengths over 1500m at Eagle Farm so should win this providing he can handle the going. $1.70
