Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Saturday’s meeting. The feature events are the JC Roberts Stakes (race 5) and the Natasha Stakes  (race 6).

Tri For Us (Ascot Race 8 No. 6)
Adan Durrant trains this four-year-old mare who has won her last two races. She ran on strongly from the back half of the field doing her best work late for a 2 length win over 1900m at Albany on 10 February, then took over at the 175m and kept going for a 0.9 length win over 1800m at Ascot on 26 February. Going for a hat-trick here and has strong claims.

Chiclett (Ascot Race 7 No. 6):
This four-year-old Tavistock mare trained by Daniel & Ben Pearce has six wins and five places from his 23 starts. She was held up at the 200m and ran on strongly once clear for 0.9 length 2nd over 180m at Ascot on 19 February, then took over at the 200m and got away for  2.3 length win over 2000m in the Mount Barker Cup on 27 February. Looks a lovely each-way bet.

Constant Dreaming (Ascot Race 6 No. 1):
Constant Dreaming trained by Adam Durrant is the early favourite in the Listed Natasha Stakes for three-year-old fillies over 2200m. She ran on strongly between the leaders then got struck on the nose by a whip at the 150m and didn’t go on after that for 2.3 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Geraldton on 13 February, then got clear at the 200m and kept going for a 1.7 length win in the Listed Ascot 1000 Guineas over 1800m at Ascot on 26 February. Carries 2kg more than anyother runner here and I think that will tell over the 2200m. Prepared to risk her.

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments There are 9 races including the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 (race 8). The track is soft and the rail is in the true position. Best Bet Angel Capital (Doomben Race 6 No. 5) Debuted for a 2.3 length win at Cranbourne where he came from last and wound up from the top of the straight to flash home down the outside. Jamie Kah sticks and he looks a lovely colt. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson

Key Comments 2nd day of the Scone Carnival. Plenty of features including the Woodlands Stakes (race 3), Denise Joy Stakes (race 6), Ortensia Stakes (race 7), the Dark Jewel Classic (race 8) and Luskin Star Stakes (race 9). Best Bet Jedibeel (Scone Race 10 No. 8) Lovely return effort when being backed off the map and showed off a fine turn of foot. Can go right on with things here and should get a nice tow into it from barrier 7. Hard to

Horse Racing Tips: SA Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments There are 9 races on the Parks circuit. The track is rated good and the rail is +3 metres from the 1000m -to the winning post and true for the remainder. Best Bet Easy Campese (Morphettville Race 3 No. 4) Easy Campese has been runner-up at his last 3 races and is ready to win. With the 2kg claim for Alana Livesay he will only carry 52.5 kg down from 59kg last start and hopefully that will make all the difference.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 18th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 4 metres. The feature races include the Straight Six (race 7) and the Andrew Ramsden (race 8). The best bet looks well placed to bounce back and very hard to beat if finding its old form. Best Bet Niance (Flemington Race 3 No. 7) Had excuses last start when bungling the jump. Looks really hard to beat if finding its old form and there was so much to like about the wins prior. Looks way over the
